Global Cloud Support & Integration Engineer (Part time)
Role Overview

Location: Hybrid

Good knowledge of Broadcast and IT technical principles, including production workflows, broadcast equipment and systems including, but not limited to, cameras, sound, vision-mixers and switchers, Audio boards and mix-minus build up, lighting, live graphics systems, post-production, media management, MCR and Playout

Ability to write Powershell scripts

Manage networks and set up firewall rooms with both leading on-prem & cloud solutions in the market

Manage and understand Active Directories (Azure, Okta, Google and other SAML compatible solutions)

Enthusiastic and self-motivated, able to prioritise a daily workload, and to meet deadlines both individually, and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills a must; ability to communicate quickly and effectively

Experience with Cloud based technologies (AWS, Azure, Google cloud)

Experience with virtual computing (VMware)

Experience with streaming technologies (HLS, NDI, RTMP, SRT)

Experience of networking and switching

Experience in broadcast automation systems, e.g. Viz Mosart & Ross Overdrive
-
Experience with troubleshooting live hit solutions e.g. Quicklink, LiveU, TVU
-
Demonstrable team leadership and management skills, capable of developing and motivating teams across a range of output.

expertise in using AutoCAD for designing and documenting broadcast systems and facilities
-
WIlling to travel inside the US
Your Expertise:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Communications, Electronic Engineering or related field preferred
-
5 plus years’ experience with the setup, operation and troubleshooting of broadcast & IT equipment
-
Experience with the following equipment preferred: NDI, Viz Mosart, Viz Vectar, Cannon & Panasonic PTZ Cameras, Sienna, Dina, Mimir, AWS Cloud Environment (specially with Broadcast in mind)

Experience in managing technology teams, their roster & schedule

Experience in setting up ticketing systems and managing them
